Altona Rockside Seniors

The Altona Rockside Senior Club is made up of Saturday residents 50 years and older from Altona and surrounding towns. The Club was established as a social group that allowed our seniors to gather for lunches, fellowship and special events. Dues are $6 year payable in January of each year. We currently have 112 active members and 27 lifelong members. Anyone interested in joining our club can call Cathy at 518-236-7376 or Gladys at 518-236-7207 or attend one of our meals. Altona Receives Mini Grant for Complete Streets Projects to Promote Safe Walking and Biking

The Town of Altona was recently awarded a mini grant to implement complete streets projects to make it safer to walk, bike, and roll in the community through the Clinton County Health Department. The following upgrades will be taking place in the spring at the crosswalk on Station St.:

• White lines extending sidewalk across Dollar General and Town Hall access drives

• Bike/ped warning signs for Devils Den Rd

• Stark Rd Park sign
